Endoscopic Nasal And Sinus Surgery

Modified Radical Mastoidectomy (MRM) is the term used to describe an operative technique done for managing cholesteatoma in which the all diseased tympanomastoid air cells are removed, exenterated and exteriorized to the external auditory canal with reconstruction of middle ear transformer mechanism.

Canalplasty

A surgical procedure where an ear canal can be reconstructed. This reconstruction is performed by creating an opening in the skull (where an ear canal would be present) and lining the newly created opening with a skin graft.

It is the closure of the perforation of pars tensa of the tympanic membrane. When myringoplasty is combined with the removal of sear tissue is called tympanoplasty. The operation is performed with the patient supine and face turned to one side.
